WFHS ProStart teams fare well at culinary event

Baton Rouge - The 2016 Louisiana ProStart Student Invitational held on March 9-10 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center featured 21 high school ProStart teams competing in the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation Culinary Competition. Students were judged not only on the taste and presentation of their dishes but also on knife, poultry fabrication, communication and time management skills while teams cooked a three-course gourmet meal on two burners in one hour, a news release said.
